About Us
Pub | Food | Inn
We're a unique Ale and Dining pub close to the A1M at the Biggleswade North turn.
Broom is a beautiful village close to Jordans Mill , and only a few miles from Shefford
Now a thriving Freehouse The Cock has been licensed
since 1836.
Originally a row of early 19th century cottages, the pub has grown from a single room with beer fetched from the cellar to a Pub | Restaurant & now a Boutique Hotel, Bed & Breakfast in the recently renovated adjacent cottages.
The interior is listed on Heritage Pubs Website & since becoming a Freehouse (July 2013)
the pub has undergone improvements to all rooms and can now offer a warm welcome and superb ale and food.
Our main dining room seats up to 22 guests, we can also cater to the front and
middle rooms for smaller, more intimate gatherings.
We also have a traditional games room with a rare Northamptonshire skittles table.
This is available for casual use or can be booked to cater for fun nights with family, friends & work nights out.
We have monthly theme nights ie Italian, French, Greek.
Also we have a camp field overlooking the Bedfordshire Countryside
